Here's a poet I found on Poets.org. Check out his bio and his poems. We'll be looking at them in class tomorrow. I am going to ask you to annotate one of them line by line and then to do something more with the annotations. See you tomorrow in class.

Espada is a poet of remembance, of not forgetting of the continuous nature of being, believing that the lives of cooks and waiters from the top of the world are honored and continued by our images of them walking through their mornings in the blue flames of kitchen stove pilot lights, the honor continues with the imagining weaving the faces and hands of strangers, the eys of cousins and brothers into a fabric made whole by the living and the dead. His poems bring us hope that some poet somewhere will weave us into forever.
